Jim is owner and managing partner for MediaOne North America, a digital media company with unique expertise in travel, hospitality and tourism based in Atlanta, Ga. Jim spent the past 28 years traveling around the U.S.A. in business development for national magazines such as Readers Digest, Travel & Leisure, Departures, National Geographic, Modern Bride, Good Housekeeping and Forbes, as well as digital media companies specifically inculcated into the tourism and hospitality world. His unique road-warrior experience, client entertainment, tourism conferences, and family vacations have transformed him into an accidental but enthusiastic foodie. From Key West, Fla., to Juneau, Alas., San Diego, Calif., to Boston, Mass., Jim has sampled fare from gas stations to gastropubs. His specialty is finding local places with a distinct flavor that locals love. He spent many years creating travel experiences for American readers including “A Cultural Tour of the American South”, for National Geographic Magazine, helping showcase each southern state’s unique culture. In a continually shrinking world, food reminds us that our differences are what make us unique and appealing. Jim enjoys the outdoors, live theatre, college sports and food—because the only thing worse than being fat is being hungry.
Cynthia is director of operations for MediaOne North America. Work and leisure trips have given her opportunities to explore some roads less traveled and to enjoy often fabulous fare with the locals. Discovering the flavors of a culture, both figuratively and literally, is atop her list of favorite experiences. A mother of three adult children and owner of one mollycoddled Maltipoo, Cynthia relishes a good road trip, painting with watercolors, reading, and trekking a mountain path to observe nature along the way. She has an affinity for good wine, a passion for making simple gourmet food with her husband Jim, and revels in adventuring with their grown-up family.
Josh is a managing partner and the digital game planner for MediaOne North America. He has a strong working knowledge of the digital ecosphere, including how paid and organic traffic work together to build successes. He stresses deep, custom analytics reporting with actionable insights that puts the team in a position to look well beyond clicks and click through rate. He has worked with top brands and technology partners at Zenith Media (part of Publicis Groupe, accounting for nearly one third of all digital ad spend in the world), The Zimmerman Agency and Interfuse Media as well as with hoteliers, tourism boards, auto, financial institutions, e-commerce and CPG clients. He is also a very busy daddy who craves a full night of sleep.

Hope is editor of Foodie Travel USA and the strategic content lead for MediaOne North America. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Hope has written about travel, food, wine and spirits since she left a corporate career to start freelancing in 2000. Her writing has appeared in dozens of publications nationwide, including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, San Francisco Chronicle, US Airways, and other titles; she’s also held editor roles for multiple Atlanta-based magazines. When not writing, she can usually be found on the road or savoring something tasty. Her flavor safari has (so far) included traveling to 34 countries on four continents as well as helping judge multiple culinary and wine competitions. In 2012, she launched the online magazine Getaways for Grownups. At home she’s a tomato gardener who’s owned by a cat and married to a Big Green Egg-head.
